Father Adel led our annual Christmas Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Villa. Based on the Domincan Sisters history of compassionate care, Our Lady of Fatima Villa is rich in Catholic tradition, but is open to, and welcome residents of all faiths. 

We credit our dedicated and compassionate staff for the excellent care our residents received - and for which we receive honors and recognition.  We honor our staff by an annual Staff Christmas Party.  Great food, fellowship, music and laughter are the program.  It's one way we can say "thanks!"

We have a wonderful extended family here at Our Lady of Fatima Villa.  Our residents, their families and our staff share a special bond.  Our President and CEO, Bella Mahoney, is the "head" of our family and as such, she hosted a special Holiday Luncheon for our residents.  It was a festive occasion...lots of red and green and holiday fare.  It was another example that we celebrate life..whatever the season at Our Lady of Fatima Villa.

25+ members of Scout Troops 407 (Sponsored by West Valley Presbyterian Church) entertained residents of Our Lady of Fatima Villa with Christmas carols.  Scout Leader Larry Grace said, “This is a tradition we look forward to every year.  One Scout told me, ‘It really feels good to bring something nice like music to these residents’.  After we finished singing to the group, we caroled through the halls of Fatima Villa.  It was a wonderful evening.”

Our Lady of Fatima Villa is known for outstanding management and staff.  They are responsible for our 5-Star rating and recognition by US News and World Report as "One of the Tope Nursing Homes in the US".  The entire management team was honored at a Holiday Lunch.  It was a wonderful opportunity for this close-knit group to share fellowship.

"It was a great event!"  That was Our Lady of Fatima President and CEO Bella Mahoney's praise of the annual Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Holiday Mixer held at Fatima Villa.  Chef Jose Duenas' gourmet appetizers were one topic of happy conversation.  The mood was festive and the decor was definitely Christmassy!  It was a wonderful fellowship event for local business people.

Three Medical Directors gathered at the Annual Holiday Dinner for Board Members and Supporters of Our Lady of Fatima Villa.  It was a successful year -- Our Lady of Fatima Villa was recognized for the third year as "One of the Best Nursing Facilties in the US" and also received a 5-Star rating for the fourth consecutive year from the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.  This was especially gratifying since the standards for the 5-Star ratings have been raised and tightened.

It was a very happy evening when past and current members of the Boards of Directors joined staff, residents and supporters for the annual Christmas Dinner in their honor.  There are two Boards of Directors:  Our Lady of Fatima Villa Operating Board and Our Lady of Fatima Villa Foundtion Board.  Both Boards have had notable and dedicated community infuencers as members, among them: Adrian Stanga; Judge Neil Cabrihna; Gene Longinetti; Dan Doore; Victor Lo Bue; Connie Palladino; Stanfield Fries; and more.
