Our Lady of Fatima Villa is an active place. We are lucky to have many volunteer groups come by to visit and entertain. Our residents love it -- especially when the performers are children. Recently, two young talented volunteers stopped by to sing for our residents. Thanks Aimee and Tom!
We all (staff, residents, visitors, and vendors) agree -- our parking lot needs modification. We have been working for engineers, planners, The City, our neighbors and many other entities for over five years. Word is that sometime this spring, all elements will be in place for us to break ground on a newly-refurbished parking lot!
As the New Year begins -- all of us at Our Lady of Fatima Villa wish you a happy healthy year. Here are some signs to watch for -- that we should all know!
Some of Silicon Valley's most prominent citizens call Our Lady of Fatima Villa Home. One such distinguished person is Marilyn White, a former Citizen of the Year for Saratoga. Marilyn has been involved in most all of Saratoga's service and volunteer organizations. Marilyn watched with pride as the Saratoga HIgh School Marching Band performed in this year's Rose Parade.
"We are so proud!" That's the comment heard often during the annual Tournament of Roses Parade when residents and staff saw the Saratoga High School Marching Band perform. Saratoga High was one of only 16 bands selected to march in the prestigious parade, held January 1 in Pasadena. Our Lady of Fatima Villa is a senior care facility located in Saratoga, California and is a strong community supporter. Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Rehabilitation and Respite Services are offered.
All of us at Our Lady of Fatima Villa send wishes for a Happy Healthy New Year!
Our Lady of Fatima Villa is fortunate to have many local volunteers and performing groups visit our residents. Recently, the talented group of young girls, "Maple Dew" played four hands piano, sang and danced for our residents. Our residents loved seeing the girls perform! Thank you Maple Dew!
Two brand new vans to transport our residents to appointments, shopping, and outings...that's what Santa brought to Our lady of Fatima Villa! We believe in the comfort and safety of our residents, so it was time to retire our well-used former vehicles. Father Adel conducted a "Blessing of the Vehicles" ceremony so the new transports begin on the right note!
Our staff works hard, they are caring and compassionate when it comes to our residents. They also know how to have fun! We just got these photos of staff members kicking up their heels (so to speak) at our annual Staff Christmas Party. A good time was had by all!
