Board Member Ernie Kraule Honored as Outstanding Saratogan

We are bursting our buttons with pride that former Saratoga Fire Chief Ernie Kraule was honored as an Outstanding Saratogan by the Saratoga Historical Society.  He is well deserving of this honor, having done so much for our community.  Ernie is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Our Lady of Fatima Villa.  He was honored tonight at a dinner that also recognized Betty Peck and Bill Cancelleri.  Please check back for photos of this wonderful event honoring these outstanding citizens!

Our Amazing Food Service Team Won the Coveted Good Housekeeping Award!

Our Food Service Team deserves daily awards for their outstanding meals.  Our residents and guests continuously comment on the healthy and delicious creations.  This month, our Food Service staff won the conveted "Good Housekeeping Award".  Congratulations to the entire team.  Led by Chef Jose, it takes a team to deliver the high quality of restaurant-quality dishes they prepare each and every day!

Survey Says Sarataoga is a Great Place to Live -- That's Our Home!

A recent survey that polled the citizens of Saratoga said that 95% of the residents thought Saratoga was "a great place to live".  We agree and are happy that Our Lady of Fatima Villa is located in the heart of this wonderful town.  It is quiet, charming and friendly!  We are also very proud that we are the oldest continuosly operating business in Saratoga!

Dave Santos Comments on CADRE Award

I just got back from the Collaborating Agencies Disaster Relief Effort (CADRE) awards ceremony.  Our Lady of Fatima was awarded the Excellence in Preparedness Award for 2016 for “Outstanding Contributions to Community Preparedness and Whole Community Resiliency”.  We were nominated for this award by Mr. Jim Yoke of the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

Our Lady of Fatima Villa Lounge a Hit at the Art Show!

As a major donor to the Saratoga Rotary Art Show, Our Lady of Fatima Villa debuted its "Take a Break" Lounge.  Intended for those who needed some time out from viewing the show..weather, fatigue, or just to take a break, the lounge served over 800 people during the two day art show.  "It was a smashing success", said David Santos, Admissions Director for Our Lady of Fatima Villa.

Residents Celebrate Their God-Given Talents at our Quarterly Talent Show!

We always look forward to seeing the talent that our resident’s possess.  Every quarter, as the seasons change, we highlight our residents.  We believe strongly that talent should be seen and shared, and our residents are a pretty talented bunch!

We started the afternoon with a community singing of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”. 

Sr. Ruth Raftery, sang “Morning Has Broken”, by Cat Stevens.

Mrs. Mary Gomez read a very patriotic poem entitled "America".

Marilyn Freisen shared her story of being a devoted mom and the ups and downs of being a soldier's wife.
