At long last, our new entrance sign is up to identify one of US News and World Report's Top Nursing Homes in the US!  We retired our carved wooden sign and replaced it with a a sign showing our new logo, new colors and with internal illumination to be seen better at night.  Thanks to the City of Saratoga, The Planning Commission, Th Heritage Commission, the City Inspectors and Window Graphics sign company for their time and effort on this project.  We also thank our neighbors for their continuied support!

Senior Housing Options -- Making the Best Choice

As luck would have it, digging down the required depth for our new improved entrance sign, we hit a pipe main!  Installation is proceeding, but a few day delay will occur while inspectors ensure that all is well.  We hope to have our new illuminated sign up by the first of next week.  In the meantime, banners are up to direct visitors to our entrance.  Thank you again for your patience.

Passers-by to Our Lady of Fatima Villa may notice that our long-time carved wooden sign has been taken down.  In its place will be a new lighted sign.  We are proud to have gotten the stamp of approval from the City of Saratoga, the Saratoga Historical Review Committee, and other groups involved with sign approvals in the City of Saratoga.  We are looking forward to our "new look".  In the meantime, banners are up to direct visitors to our entrance.  We appreciate your patience during this process.

Saratoga City Manager Dave Anderson is retiring and heading to Texas.  We at Our Lady of Fatima Villa wish Happy Trails!  We were proud to have catered the full-house event at the Joan Pisani Community Center.  We shared the crowds mixed feelings -- mixed because we wish him well but hate to see this dedicated public servant leave our City.

It's a dry drought year and along with the City of Saratoga and the Saratoga Fire District, we encourage all residents to be Fire Safe!

A festive Fourth of July BBQ certainly had a patriotic spirit here at Our Lady of Fatima Villa.  Flags, music, flag waving and great food put a smile on everyone's face.  We celebrate life...whatever the season or occasion here at Fatima Villa!

Our Valley was once known as "Valley of the Heart's Delight" and orchards were abundant with delicious plums, apricots, peaches and cherries. Many locals still harvest summer fruit, including the Ron Miller family of Monte Sereno.  The Millers, their son and grandchildren picked ripe purple plums and delivered them to Chef Jose Duenas to be enjoyed by our residents.  That's what we call tree to table!  Thank you Millers!  By the way, Joan Miller is an active realtor with Alain Pinel Realty!

Tom Sloan, Chairman of the 2014 Saratoga Rotary Art Show thanked Our Lady of Fatima Villa for their sponsorship of the Art Show.  “The Saratoga Rotary Art Show is a community event put on every year by charitable members of our community for the mutual benefit of everyone in the local community.

Bishop Patrick McGrath celebrated the Feast of Our Patroness on Saturday, July 28th with a mass followed by a luncheon.  Over 150 people attended and given the many positive comments, everyone had a wonderful time.
