Residents of Our Lady of Fatima Villa celebrated Ohana (the Spirit of Hawaii) with a lively luau in our courtyard. The event was complete with Hawaiian dancers and music, leis and great fellowship.
We are pleased with the progress on our parking lot project -- especially when our residential and business neighbors compliment our project management.
Construction is a challenging process --so we appreciate our residents and our neighbors patience during our parking lot redesign project. We have received calls and written comments thanking us for our communication and willingness to work with our neighbors.
The new parking lot will be a win for all!
We are pleased to welcome Eric Huffman as our new Director of Rehabilitation Services. Eric has a solid background in various therapy disciplines. He will head up both our on-site and our to-home Rehabilitation Services.
Our parking lot prject is moving along -- at a rapid rate! Here is a photo of our large "mound" being leveled to make room for additional parking spaces for our visitors and guests!
Our own CFO, Micaela Parson, was inducted into the Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club and for a brief moment, was the newest member of Rotary International. Soon-to-be Rotary District 5170 Governor (and her sponsor), Tim Lundell welcomed Ms. Parsons into the club. Rotary International has 1.2 million members worldwide and bring together community leaders for fellowship and service.
We have begun work to make our parking lot safer and to increase the number of available parking spaces. We are doing all we can to complete this important project as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we ask for your patience. Visitors are asked to park across Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. at the Saratoga Federated Church. Signs indicate the spaces allocated to Our Lady of Fatima Villa on the Church site.

All approvals and permits are in and we are proud to announce the start of construction on our new and improved parking lot. This will mean better safety for visitors and our residents.

It was a wonderful July 4th at Our Lady of Fatima Villa. Local Boy Scouts carried the Grand Old Flag and led the annual parade around our courtyard. Residents and their guests were dressed in red, white and blue. It was a great way to celebrate the birthday of our great country!
Our dedicated staff is one reason that Our Lady of Fatima Villa has been recognized as "one of the top nursing homes in the US" by US News and World Report. We honored our CNAs during National Nursing Week, as w do every year. We appreciate the truly compassionate care that our nurses give to our residents...and our residents do too!
