Residents Enjoyed an Evening in Africa Here at Our Lady of Fatima Villa

Residents had the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of part of the African continent last week.  A traditional and ancient form of communication was demonstrated with the playing of African drums.  Various rhythms were used for worship as well as relaying information.  Executive Chef Jose Duenas and staff joined the celebration with a Moroccan-themed dinner featuring Moroccan Chicken Stew in Turmeric Sauce and a Moroccan Truffle dessert.  Staff members modeled traditional Nigerian fashions.  The evening finished with a demonstration of African dance steps and photos!
